Walking down the aisle in a beautiful white dress with the man of my dreams waiting to say “I do!” The reality is: marriage is made up of two humans and marriage takes work. After 30 years, I can say with all honesty that marriage is the best and the most challenging part of my entire life. In 2016, we hosted the first Cultivating the Heart of a Wife workshop at the Delight House. I knew then that it would be the first of many Engaged/Newly Married workshops. As a group of women, we laughed, cried, worshipped, ate together and truly bonded. Most importantly, we learned to be better wives- TOGETHER. There is such refreshment and encouragement when women come together and share the highs and lows of marriage. If you are in need of Godly wisdom, advice, practical tips and community- this is for you!

I'm Kristin (a.k.a. “Momma Wall” to most), wife, mom & “mimi” to the cutest grandkids ever! If you have already met me face-to-face, I’m sure you would have gotten a big momma-bear hug from me. My personal hashtag is #nohandshakesinheaven. :) I’m just me. I’m real. I’m blunt. I say it like it is. I don’t mince words. I believe everyday life is a gift... even the ordinary & mundane. I know firsthand that joy can be found in the midst of pain and suffering, in the messiness of life. I crave intentionality, but realize that when we surrender to the Holy Spirit, our lives may not look like we’d expect them to. Above all, I choose to be real, to share my story in hopes that it might help bring healing to others & to live in wholehearted surrender to my Jesus! I am excited to share with you about one of my favorite topics... marriage. After being married for 28 years, you would think I’d know all the answers, right? ;) But I can promise to share with you real-life learning experiences and how we are more in love now than we ever have been! I can’t wait to sit around the farmhouse table and hear your love story!

Heather is a Philly girl, but has dreams of being at home in the world one day. She has been married to her ruggedly handsome husband Joel for 12 years and is mom to two of her own (Levi & Caroline) along with a handful of others she loves on including her students.
Heather has a heart for building and encouraging strong marriages founded on a relationship with God and his Word. Marriage has been the most humbling and sanctifying experience of her life and she's thankful for God's faithfulness throughout all of its many seasons. Her favorite places to be are the beach, her garden, and her kitchen cooking up some delicious food to share with family and friends.

Hey girls, I am Delight Big Sis Richelle Opland. I am a lover of Jesus and all things creation. My heart comes alive witnessing Gods glory through His creation, from a simple sunset to the vast ocean, I love it all. I am born and raised in Washington State and absolutely love the Pacific Northwest. I am a wife to my husband (Stephen) of almost 11 years, and mom to my 3 boys (Desmond 9, Kayden 7, and Grantley 4).
I am a stay at home mom and homeschool our boys.
I love to laugh and enjoy baking. If food could be love language, it would be one of mine. I love living life with people and adventuring with my family.

I'm honored to be the worship leader for our time together. I find that making a comfortable space in worship allows us to open up and pour out our hearts raw before God. I am an open book, love sharing my own personal testimonies of failure and triumph, and I love to make people laugh through tears. My goal is to ignite women to follow after God and understand the scripture and apply it to their life. I can’t wait to meet you, and pray for you.
Bridgette Rose resides in Brooklyn New York. She attended the College of Staten Island for her MA in Education, and is pursuing teaching in NYC public schools. In her downtime writes songs, teaches music, and leads worship for her church at Calvary Church in Staten Island. Currently she is a Big Sister for Delight and Be. Bridgette loves having conversations of things that are hard to talk about in church including drug addiction, sexuality issues, and mental health.

Upon registration, you will be invited to a Facebook group where you can coordinate travel with other attendees. Attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from the Trapezah House in Pateros, Washington.
Registration is $695. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due upon registration.Final payments are due
