Over the last 10 years as Delight & Be, we have consistently seen the power of the table as a God-given tool for bestowing identity and building relationship. Trapezah - which means “table” in Greek - will carry the heartbeat and legacy of Delight to a wider age range. With this new name comes a renewed focus on empowering women of all ages to set the table for connection in their lives through our in-person experiences and resources.

In 2014, our non-profit was blessed with a fixer upper house in need of a lot of love. Renovations soon began with the goal of using the home for full-time hospitality. A few months into the restoration process, the house miraculously survived the worst wildfire in Washington State history. Since its completion in 2015, hundreds of women have found freedom, hope, and healing. This special home is nestled in the mountains of north central Washington State surrounded by cherry, pear and apple orchards.

In 2012, we started out as Delight & Be, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the focus of loving and serving young women ages 16-22. Over the last 10 years, we hosted hundreds of women from all over the nation through in-person events and workshops. While the content and structure of each event varied, the heartbeat remained the same: creating spaces for women to experience God’s presence and love in the context of a safe community. In addition to serving a national audience, we hosted countless of events in our local community including weekly small groups and celebrations.

Over the last seven years of friendship, we have bonded over creating experiences for women to experience more of God's love in the context of safe community. We cannot wait to host you at an upcoming Trapezah event!
Kristin is a wife of thirty years to John, mama to four adult children, and mimi to seven beautiful grandkids. She founded Delight & Be in 2012 with a heart for creating spaces for women to be safe, seen, and loved. She is thrilled to be continuing its heartbeat through Trapezah.
Callie is a newlywed, destination wedding photographer of ten years, and an avid cheese board enthusiast. She began leading events with Delight in 2017, and has a passion for helping women discover the wholeness and freedom that's available to them in practical ways.
